The idea for a picnic may come completely out of the blue. But how to prepare well for it? To make this time as successful as possible, it is worth remembering to pack all the necessary things. One of the most important is a picnic basket filled with delicious snacks and drinks. However, that's not all. We suggest how to prepare for relaxing in the fresh air.
WHAT TO TAKE WITH YOU ON A PICNIC?
The list of things to take largely depends on where you plan to have your outdoor holiday. If you're having a picnic in your own garden, you'll have a full assortment of crockery at your disposal: ceramic dishes, glass decanters and trays that you use every day at home. So there is nothing stopping you from having a truly colourful feast on your own terrace.
Our living room or children's room furniture can also be a great help to our guests. The portable Looz pouffes and the lightweight Handy tables can easily be moved into the garden to create a temporary relaxation area.
What to take for a picnic in the meadow? If you don't have a garden or like to picnic outdoors, disposable plates, cutlery and paper cups will come in handy. It is a good idea to pack prepared snacks safely in airtight food containers with lids. And don't forget that high temperatures outside can be detrimental to prepared food. On a sunny day, take a portable fridge with you to help keep your delicacies in good condition. And remember to bring cloth napkins to keep your hands clean.
A PICNIC ON THE GRASS - A BLANKET AND CUSHIONS TO KEEP YOU COMFORTABLE
A soft blanket for picnics will ensure a comfortable rest on the grass or sand. The light blanket can serve many functions. Spread out on the ground, it can serve as a seat and a table on which to place plates and cups. When it cools down, we can wrap ourselves in it. Add a comfortable cushion to the set and you have a place to take an afternoon nap or read a book in peace and quiet.
How do I choose the best outdoor textiles? The durability of the material and how easy it is to clean are the main considerations. Cushions with breathable pillowcases made from 100% natural linen or an Ely blanket made from pleasant cotton will work well.

If you are planning a trip to the woods, be sure to bring insect repellent and an extra outer garment for when the sun goes down and the temperature drops a bit.

The freedom of action is also certainly appreciated by parents of young children, who can carry out a variety of outdoor games in a safe environment.
