PEUGEOT brand grinders have been in production for nearly 200 years, long ago achieving the status of iconic kitchen accessories.

The bulk of the manufacturing process takes place at the PEUGEOT factory in Quingey, located in the Doubs department of Burgundy.

Full production control ensures that the grinding mechanisms of the grinders are covered by a lifetime warranty.

All PEUGEOT mills use proprietary grinding mechanisms adapted to different types of spices. Salt mills allow grinding coarse salt, sea salt and rock salt with a granulation of up to 4 mm. Pepper mills, on the other hand, have a special mechanism with spiral-shaped blades, which ensures optimal grinding of the grains.

The grinding thickness of PEUGEOT grinders can be adjusted with a traditional infinitely variable adjustment or, in the case of grinders with the uSelect mechanism, by selecting one of 6 grinding thickness steps.

PEUGEOT places a strong emphasis on a responsible, environmentally friendly policy, which means that the wood used in the production of the mills is PEFC certified and comes mainly from local forests in the Franche-Comte region. In addition, only solvent-free paints are used to paint the housings.
