Christmas decorations are one of those elements without which many of us cannot imagine Christmas at all. How do you decorate your home for Christmas so that the soothing scent of woods, the spicy aroma of gingerbread and the soft light of candles welcomes you at the doorstep?

You don't have to buy new decorations every year - you can easily create them yourself. Make use of a few things you have at home, transform your interior with floral accents or turn your decorations and accessories into something completely new.

It doesn't take much to bring that special, warm and homely Christmas atmosphere inside with your own table, door or wall decorations. Here are 11 simple ideas for Christmas decorations that we can make ourselves.

Mistletoe will come in handy when we want to completely transform our interiors for Christmas. Its unique fragrance will spread throughout the entire flat.

If you are looking for ideas for simple Christmas decorations, this winter wreath is definitely one of them. The base of the wreath can be a piece of wire or a metal hoop to which you can attach plant decorations.
