The environment we live in has a huge impact on our mood. With the sunlight coming through the windows, many of us feel the need for a change. Bright colours, patterned accessories or green plants can give us new energy, dormant after the winter months.

When preparing your home for spring, it is a good idea to start with a general tidy-up and then carry out a small metamorphosis of the space.

Living ready for the sun - doing some spring cleaning

To bring a cheerful atmosphere into your home, let's start with a general tidy-up to help us banish winter. Once all the dust is gone, don't forget to put away the ornaments we associate with the past months. Before we hang up our spring paintings, let's also check whether our walls need repainting. A wet coat, snow-covered shoes or a dirty sled may have done a lot of damage over the winter. Also take a look at the floor - wooden parquet floors may need a fresh coat of oil or varnish. The beginning of spring is the ideal time for any repairs and minor renovations so that you can enjoy the rest of the year in comfort.

New energy - improving organisation

The interiors of the wardrobes are also worth taking care of in terms of order and harmony. Replacing your wardrobe with a new one in spring will give you a little more storage space, so you can think about better organising your space.
