White room doors are always a good idea. They provide a light accent, are extremely versatile and easily adapt to subsequent design solutions.

White doors will work in any interior, regardless of its function or size. They become a light, bright spot that brings more light into an interior and optically enlarges it. They are also useful when we want to create a universal design staple for our ever-changing ideas.

When choosing white interior doors, let's consider what we specifically require from them in the individual rooms. After all, doors can further dampen the interior, prevent heat escaping and even offer extra storage space for the most necessary trinkets. What is a good thing to look out for when deciding on a white door for your home?

WHITE DOORS: MORE LIGHT FOR YOUR IDEAS

White doors will help to bring together in harmony bright interiors decorated with furniture in the same colour and emphasise the warm character of natural, wooden elements. They are also ideal if you are dreaming of arrangements with dark accents: distinctive walls, furniture fronts or flooring. White doors will help to further emphasise black, brown or dark blue tones, adding a bold accent to the interior.

The colour of an interior door can also become the perfect complement to the lighting of our interiors. This is especially noticeable in the hallway, a room that is often deprived of sunlight. White doors will help to brighten up the interior even more if you choose doors with glazing. It is through these that light from other rooms will enter. For example, Inovo doors with different glazing variants finished in a milky matt colour will work well in a bedroom, study or youth room. They will help to illuminate the hallway, while at the same time providing the residents with the necessary privacy. The width and position of the glazing can be adjusted, for example, to the position of the window inside the room - so that as much light as possible can pass through the door.

INVISIBLE OR CLASSIC

If we also opt for universal white on the walls, white doors can become almost invisible in our interiors when closed. All you need to do is choose smooth, rebate-free door leaves that flush with the edge of the wall. This is not only an interesting design accent, but also a way of dampening the room and reducing heat transfer - provided the right door panel is matched. And if you want to add a touch of pastel colour to the ubiquitous white, you can choose a Rimo door with an edge finished in one of eight colours: grey, mint, light yellow, blue, white, pink, anthracite or brushed steel. This soft accent can tie in with the rest of the interior: walls, furniture and accessories.

If you like to combine new and old in your home, you can also choose the white Fresto door. We can choose from three variants with simple ornaments, referring to the classic woodwork. This is a model that will work equally well in simple, bright arrangements of small flats as it will in refreshed interiors that keep the spirit of history. Especially since Fresto door leaves are available in two versions: rebated and rebate-free.

If we want the finish of our white doors to be an interior decoration in itself, we can think about original glazing. Doors from the Nordia collection feature long strips of glass, arranged in barely discernible horizontal lines. They will work well in any room - from the bathroom to the living room to the bedroom, where they will let delicate streaks of light through the narrow glazing.

A similar solution is also found in the Uppsala door, whose light, longitudinal glazing is arranged vertically. This makes the interior appear slightly taller. A similar effect can also be achieved with the solid version of the door, with a milled leaf without glass accents. Depending on our needs, we can match different door leaf variants from the same collection to several rooms. Each of them will be made of board in the same shade of white, helping us to achieve a consistent effect in the hallway.

PERSONALISE YOUR WHITE DOORS

To make a white door match your interior even better, decide on the appearance of the details yourself, e.g. by choosing a door handle in a striking colour that matches the floor finish or furniture fronts. Even the smallest accents will stand out against the universal white - and in interiors, it is often the details that make the difference.

SKIRTING BOARDS FOR WHITE DOORS

Sometimes the best combinations are the simplest ones, which is why skirting boards in the same colour are a good complement to white doors. Such a duo will create a compositional bracket for our interior ideas. It will match different shades of floor and wall colours.

In high rooms, Estilo skirting boards will go well with white doors. They are slightly higher than classic skirting boards, so they will help to properly even out the proportions of the interior. In multifunctional spaces, Estilo will also show its other advantages, thanks to its cable compartment and flexible construction that levels out wall irregularities.

If you plan to install a rebate-free door, the interior can be finished with slim Evera skirting boards. They are especially suitable for small interiors where only a few pieces of furniture will be placed. Their shape will affect the perception of space, making interiors appear slightly taller. Even a small living room or bedroom will gain some valuable breath.
